The Ankara School of Islam

I first read about Ijtihad in an article by Cak Nur.

It looks like scholars in Ankara are picking up the torch.

"This is kind of akin to the Christian Reformation. Not exactly the same, but... it's changing the theological foundations of [the] religion"

Hm ... it's about time to see Hadits from that perspective. Even in Indonesia, Cak Nur, also see that from the history, the era when Mohammad said the rule.

Changing the theological foundation of the religion ? Well, I am not the expert, but it's about time to have reformation.
